ROUND BALEFEEDER

The 2012 SL-350™ balefeeder is a 3 point linkage mounted single balefeeder suitable for all types of round bales, even 5’ long. For 2012 we've increase the size of the rear bale restraint to reduce the chance of any bale spillage and also to improve the aesthetics a little... it's so good what else could we improve other than a few small details. 

FEEDS BOTH SIDES > Doesn’t matter which way the bale goes on. Optional side bars for feeding out square bales

CHAIN > 12 000 lb roller chain. Strongest on the market! > Weight transfer is along the bars and through the rollers onto the track in comparison to link chain – straining at every link > 40mmø rollers which travel 130mm each revolution are very low wearing (A 30mm øroller travels only 95mm meaning it is working harder) > Impossible for chain to jump off the sprocket and is covered for safety > Tucked away each end for minimal wrapping > Zinc coated

SELF-LOADING

Loading the SL-350 is very simple using our proven self-loading system. First the feeding cradle is disconnected by the pull of a rope. The tractor backs up and picks up the bale and moves it to the platform. The operator can then stop to remove the net wrap before placing the bale on the platform. Its very low cradle with no crossbar makes bale loading easy and quick. The operator then drives the forks into the feed unit, easy to line up correctly because of its unequal length tynes, and is now ready to feed out.
